The workshop was exceptional. Matt was constantly adjusting the daily itinerary to maximize photo opportunities in challenging weather conditions. He and the local guide/photographer were readily available to answer questions, give suggestions, and critique photos. There was great camaraderie in the group which added to the experience. Now that I am back and looking at my photo files, I'm beginning to realize all that I learned during the worksop.

Norway proved to be a challenge that Matt and Christian did an excellent job in overcoming. Through rain, and winds and overcast skies we were still able to catch an excellennt sunrise, numerous rainbows and an excellent display of Norther lights. Along with this the group compatibility and sense of humor helped make this workshop well worthwhile. A big thank you to both of these men for sharing their love of both Norway and photography.

This photo experience offered a range of opportunities from intimate landscapes to grand landscapes. Matt provided individual camera guidance when needed and supported each photographer in capturing an image they envisioned. His choice of locations allowed individuals a variety of possibilities to capture light, shadows, textures, or whatever the individual's vision happened to be. His supportive guidance, flexibility in choosing locations, and technical support when shooting made this experience exceptional.

This workshop was amazing! I had the best time and learned so much. There are so many details that go into taking fantastic night photos, but Matt patiently helped everyone to be successful. He has the qualities of a great teacher as well as a great photographer. At times I really appreciated this, because I had to ask the same question more than once! The class was especially useful because of its focus on OM System Cameras! I got to learn so much more about my camera than I would have in a mixed class. Also, because we were all OM System shooters, it brought an instant cohesiveness between the other members of the class. Finally, the instruction on post processing Milky Way photos was top notch. I am so happy with my finished products. I would suggest this class for any OM System shooter who wants to learn how to take great photos of the Milky Way!

This month I had the opportunity to spend a few days in Santa Fe taking pictures with just my iPhone under the direction of Matt Suess. Matt’s methodical approach to first just using the iPhone lenses, then moving on to adding Reeflex lenses and he explained where and when to use them. I also learned so much about processing images and when to change the ratio of an image and even using panoramas to get the shot wanted . It was a great time and we all had a lot of fun at dinner and joking around in the car. Thank you Matt and I hope to attend another workshop in the future. Sue McPherson
